Like the 33 vertebrae in the spine that hold us upright, here 33 glass bricks are installed in a balancing act. Half are stacked, and half are unstacked, creating ambiguity leaving us unsure whether this spine-like structure is being built or, on the contrary, dismantled. The juxtaposition between the fragility of glass and the solidity and stability we typically associate with bricks reflects the delicate process of learning to stand up for oneself as we grow.
